The West African Gas Pipeline Company Ltd (WAPCo) on February 1, 2019, welcomed its new Managing Director, Gregory Germani who takes over from Walter Bernard Perez III.

Walter served as WAPCo’s MD for 5 years 4 months, from October 2013 to 31 January 2019. During his tenure, WAPCo experienced some tremendous transformations. Walt will be remembered for his commitment to safety, operational excellence, diversity, and integrity.

Gregory Germani joins WAPCo as MD, with over 30 years working experience with Chevron. Prior to being appointed as the new Managing Director of WAPCo, he has occupied various technical and managerial positions in Chevron’s upstream and midstream sectors in the US, the UK, and Australia.
