The West African Gas Pipeline Company (WAPCo) has donated ten laptops and four desktop computers to the National Blood Service of Ghana in support of its development of a database.

At a brief presentation ceremony at the offices of the service in Accra on April 24, 2015, WAPCo’s General Manager for Corporate Affairs, Mrs. Harriet Wereko-Brobby said WAPCo believed it was important to support such a venture and was therefore happy to be able to present the computers to the blood service.

Dr. Justina Kordai Ansah, Director National Blood Service, Ghana expressed her appreciation to WAPCo for the gift which she said would help to improve the quality of blood supplied to the health facilities in the country which are serviced by her organization.
