In line with WAPCo’s commitment to improve stakeholder engagement and promote efficient and reliable gas transportation services, a team of WAPCo gas controllers recently visited the facilities of some key stakeholders within the Tema Power Enclave in Ghana.
WAPCo’s Operations & Maintenance Superintendent, West, Ing. Benoni Owusu Ayeh, led the team which visited the Ghana Grid Company Limited (GRIDCo), Tema Thermal Power Complex, and Kpone Thermal Power Station.
The purpose of the visit is to foster better communication, promote knowledge sharing and build stronger relationships between WAPCo and its major gas off-takers, for improved service delivery.
The team’s tour marks a significant milestone in WAPCo’s stakeholder engagement, as it is the first time WAPCo’s gas controllers are visiting key stakeholders’ facilities and control rooms to obtain first hand information on their operations.
“We are delighted to visit these key stakeholders and appreciate the very warm reception our team received. We look forward to building on these relationships and promoting reciprocal visits”, WAPCo’s Operations & Maintenance Superintendent, West, Ing. Benoni Owusu Ayeh said.
